Each quarter, you have access to exclusive academic learning workshops that are aligned with your lower division life sciences and chemistry. These workshops are led by graduate students, who are rising experts in their field, or Pathways students who have taken the class before and done exceptionally well. Your workshop facilitators will guide you through materials and concepts in a collaborative manner so that you can gain a deeper understanding of what you are learning in lecture with your peers.

Below are the workshops being offered this quarter. It is expected that you prioritize the workshops in your schedule. Students who actively participate in the workshops receive higher grades than those who do not.

If you are unable to attend your workshop, please contact either your workshop leader or program coordinator, London at londonw@mcdb.ucla.edu with your name, and reason for not being able to attend.

Workshops are not offered over the summer. If you are interested in becoming a workshop facilitator during the academic school year, please contact the Pathways program coordinator to learn more.
