Pathways Application

Thank you for your interest in the UCLA-HHMI Pathways to Success Program for the 2025-26 academic year. The Pathways Application is now open and due by Monday, June 9th at 11:59PM (PST).

Note: We highly suggest completing your application in a word document and saving all your information in case there are any technical difficulties or issues with submitting.

You will be notified whether they’ve been selected for an interview a few weeks after the application deadline. If you are unable to upload your unofficial high school transcript, please email it to the Pathways Program Coordinators. If you need any assistance during the application process or would like to confirm that we have received your application please email the Pathways Program Coordinator at hhmi-pathways@lifesci.ucla.edu.

UCLA HHMI Pathways Application

What is your current gender identity? (Note: This is optional and will not impact your eligibility to be admitted in the program).

(ex: incoming first-year, transfer, etc.)

A weighted GPA is an average of your grades and credits, but also considers advanced courses like Honors, IB, or AP courses. Typically on a 5-point scale.

An unweighted GPA is your average grade on a 4.0 scale (usually).
