Pathways Application

Thank you for your interest in the UCLA-HHMI Pathways to Success Program for the 2025-26 academic year. The Pathways Application is now open and due by Friday, May 23rd at 5PM (PST).

Note: When filling out your application, we highly suggest completing your application in a word document and then copy and pasting your responses into the application. Students will be notified whether they’ve been selected for an interview a few weeks after the application deadline. If you are unable to upload your unofficial high school transcript, please email it to the Pathways Program Coordinators.

UCLA HHMI Pathways Application

What is your current gender identity? (Note: This is optional and will not impact your eligibility to be admitted in the program).

(ex: incoming first-year, transfer, etc.)

A weighted GPA is an average of your grades and credits, but also considers advanced courses like Honors, IB, or AP courses. Typically on a 5-point scale.

An unweighted GPA is your average grade on a 4.0 scale (usually).
