Hey everyone! My name is Angela Acosta and I am a Neuroscience major with a minor in Chicana/o and Central American studies. I am apart of two clubs on campus called Speak Out for Surgery and Heart in Hand LA. Through the Academic Advancement Program, I work as a peer learning facilitator for the Physics 5A course. My favorite quarantine activities are reading, painting, and binge watching tv shows. My current favorites are Grey’s Anatomy and the Good Place! After undergrad, I will be applying to medical school in hope of becoming a pediatric neurologist. A fun fact about me is that I run a premed page on instagram where I document my journey to medical school and share tips and tricks regarding the MCAT and the medical school application!
